Job Description

    Role Overview:As the Information Security Architecture and Engineering Senior Manager at Avient Corporation, you will be responsible for defining and driving the overall design, implementation, and operation of security technologies. Your role will involve leading local and offshore resources, ensuring compliance with regulations, and minimizing risks through effective solutions. Your contributions will be crucial in achieving business performance targets and enhancing Avients cyber maturity protection.Key Responsibilities:- Design and lead the implementation of the security architecture roadmap, aligning with business goals and cyber protection objectives- Ensure proper implementation and tuning of security capabilities to address known and emerging threats effectively- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure technology roadmaps and solutions meet risk requirements- Establish and uphold architecture and engineering standards within the organization- Provide consultation on Operational Technology (OT) security requirements and deliver protective capabilities for these environments- Stay updated on industry trends and threat activities to enhance Avients security capabilities- Fulfill other leadership duties as assignedQualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; cloud and platform certifications are preferred- Minimum of 10 years experience leading Information Technology teams, with significant experience in leading distributed engineering teams- Proven track record of integrating modern architectures with traditional environments to enhance security posture- Strong knowledge of application security including OWASP TOP 10 and vulnerability frameworks- Experience in threat modeling methodologies at both application and enterprise levels- Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, security standards, and best practicesAdditional Details about Avient Corporation:Avient Corporation is a global leader in providing materials solutions to help customers succeed while contributing to a sustainable world.
