Job Description

    The IT Quality Manager role provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility within the technology quality domain. As the IT Quality Manager, you will offer operational and service leadership to your team(s), applying deep disciplinary knowledge to provide value-added perspectives and advisory services. You may also contribute to the development of new techniques, models, and plans within your area of expertise. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are essential in this role. You will have overall responsibility for the volume, quality, and timeliness of end results, as well as shared accountability for planning and budgets. Your work will impact an entire area, influencing the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. In this role, you will have full supervisory responsibility, ensuring the motivation and development of your team through professional leadership. This includes tasks such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, as well as directing daily tasks and responsibilities.Responsibilities:- Possess 9 to 14 years of overall testing experience- Mandatory expertise in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)- Proficiency in Gluecode (Java) and strong coding skills- Mandatory proficiency in SQL and Unix- Intermediate to expert level knowledge in FIX protocol- Experience in testing within an agile environment is preferred- Highly preferred experience in Front Office/Middle Office- Proficient in front end, back end, and database testing- Well-versed in testing processes within Agile and Waterfall SDLC- Excellent understanding of Software Quality Assurance methodologies, processes, and best practices, including current application development technology- Expertise in test cycles, test tools, and testing methodologies- Proficient in requirement analysis and test scenario derivation- Experience in conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA)- Previous experience in investment banking testing- Ability to work independently with good communication skills- Familiarity with using Jira- Positive attitude and aptitudeQualifications:- 9-13 years of experience in an IT Quality role with relevant people management experience- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills- Proven track record of quality improvements and metrics gathering- Strong communication and diplomacy skills with the ability to persuade and influenceEducation:- Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experienceThis position falls under the Technology Quality job family group and requires a full-time commitment.If you have a disability and require a reasonable accommodation to utilize our search tools or apply for a career opportunity, please review the Accessibility at Citi policy.
