Job Description

    1. Raw Material (RM) and Packing Material (PM) Management Ensure timely receipt, inspection, and storage of RM & PM as per standard operating procedures(SOPs). Implement and maintain barcode systems for efficient inventory tracking and traceability. Monitor stock levels and ensure availability as per production forecasts. Maintain accurate inventory records in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).JOB DESCRIPTION FOR MANAGER _STORESABOUT HAVMOR1. POSITION DESCRIPTION2. OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expiry-First-Out) for RM & PM handling. Collaborate with the procurement team for RM & PM requisitions and purchase order tracking. Conduct periodic stock audits to identify and address variances.2. Barcode System & Inventory Tracking Ensure all incoming and outgoing materials are properly tagged with barcodes. Use barcode scanners and systems to track real-time inventory movement and location. Maintain accurate and updated records in the ERP/SAP system using barcode integration. Analyze barcode data to identify trends, discrepancies, or inefficiencies in inventory management.3. Dispatch and Logistics Management Oversee dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of finished products. Implement barcode systems for tracking finished goods dispatch and delivery status. Coordinate with transport teams to optimize dispatch schedules and routes. Ensure all dispatch documentation, including barcoded invoices, gate passes, and delivery notes, areaccurately prepared and recorded. Monitor and maintain cold chain compliance during product dispatch. Liaise with sales and distribution teams for demand planning and timely dispatch execution.4. Cold Room Operations Management Manage storage and handling of temperature-sensitive products in cold rooms. Ensure all stored items are tagged with barcodes for accurate inventory checks. Ensure cold rooms operate within prescribed temperature ranges and maintain logs for audits. Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of cold room equipment to avoid downtime. Conduct quality checks on stored items to prevent spoilage and ensure compliance with qualitystandards. Implement energy-efficient practices to optimize cold room operations.5. Process Implementation and Compliance Develop and implement SOPs for RM & PM, dispatch, and cold room operations. Ensure adherence to quality, hygiene, and safety standards across operations. Conduct periodic training for store personnel on GMP, safety, barcode usage, and operationalefficiency. Prepare and maintain documentation for internal and external audits (e.g., ISO, FSSAI).6. Inventory and MIS Management Utilize ERP/SAP systems integrated with barcode tracking for inventory management and reporting. Generate MIS reports for inventory levels, stock movement, operational costs, and barcode dataanalysis. Analyze inventory trends and suggest cost-effective solutions to minimize waste.7. Team Leadership and People Management Manage, mentor, and motivate store and dispatch team members. Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for team development. Allocate tasks and monitor team performance to meet operational goals.
