Job Description

    Responsibilities
    • Collaborates with the Quality department & engage in providing trainings & improving awareness amongst the suppliers
    • Communicates with suppliers and internal stakeholders on a regular basis to maintain effective relationships & ensure on-time deliveries in a cost-effective manner
    • Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of correction actions of supplier quality issues
    • Supplier corrective action audits, Supplier training, technical assistance to supplier on manufacturing processes in coordination /engineering /production teams / Quality system deployment at supplier end
    • PPAP Management for new suppliers/new products
    • VCC Management for all the vendors who have not adhered to the Quality guidelines
    • Monitors suppliers performance and drives supplier improvement action
    • Monitors Action Logs, assigning resources & the timelines for the successful completion of the
    • Translate functional requirements (from client needs& Product Design functions) into supplier deliverables (interpret specifications into necessary outcomes).
    • Conducts Project Review meetings, escalates supplier issues and coordinates resolution between internal stakeholders, sourcing category leads and suppliers
    • Evaluates Technical Feasibility commitment, Analysing Risks & securing series supplies
    • Manages the supply base, identifying opportunities for improvement and enhancing cost reductions
    • Assist the Quality Manager to monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance
    • Conducts Supplier trainings and provides awareness on quality
    • Support and lead process improvement activities at the supplier
    • Evaluate and recommend new technology and ideas for improvements to production
    • Should be capable to conduct PPAP run at Suppliers
    • Offer suggestions to improve casting and Machining part
