Job Description

Job Overview TE Connectivitys Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivitys EH&S policies and procedures.At TE Connectivity, we design and manufacture one of the broadest portfolios of electrical components and electronic parts, including electrical connectors, electronic connectors, wire connectors, RJ45 connectors, LED connectors, heat shrink tubing, automotive relays, and a broad range of sensor types, among many other connectivity products. Our connectivity and sensor solutions are engineered to reliably connect and protect the flow of power, data, and signal in devices, machines, systems, and other applications built for durability under the harshest conditions, in the harshest environments. Responsibilities
    • Planning & finalizing monthly, weekly dispatch quantities in line with customer demands in co-ordination with SCM.
    • Ensuring optimum and effective utilization of all allocated resources on monthly, weekly and daily basis.
    • Ensuring VSM MOP & SCCOP recovery targets.
    • Ensuring Safety Targets on monthly basis (SLM , BBS , Training etc. )
    • Deployment & ensuring adherence to all Quality Management Targets in line with corporate and unit level targets.
    • Ensuring and promoting good industrial relationship across the unit.
    • Closely coordinating with other departments like SCM, PE, QA, HR to ensure smooth running of all production related activities.
    Desired candidate profileEDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE
    • BE/ B. Tech (Electronic, Mechanical)/ Diploma (2-3 years experience)
    CRITICAL EXPERIENCE
    • 1 2 years of experience as a production supervisor or similar role
    • Technical capabilities: Expert functional/domain knowledge
    • Advanced skills in MS Office
    • Organizational and leadership qualities
    • Communication and interpersonal skills
    • Building people capability: Training and mentoring employees with the necessary skill set, assuring workforce planning & organizational capability
