Kubernetes engineering Sr. Technical Lead: Overall experience: 8+ years, relevant experience: 5+ yrs Key responsibilities: Plan, direct and oversee the day-to-day operations of the DevOps Team. Scrum or Kanban. Participate in technology evaluation and reengineering teams to support strategy-definition and continuous process improvement activities Provides technical guidance and expertise on containerization and orchestration strategies using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Provides technical guidance and expertise on database and data storage technologies like Elasticsearch, AWS RDS, Azure SQL Responsibility for investigating and resolving operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel. Assess urgency of issues and facilitate follow-up and resolution accordingly including service quality initiatives to support a product availability Writing SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and design documentation to accomplish repetitive tasks Requirements/skills/experience needed to deliver the services: a) Qualification, Certification and Experiences (education, certificates, special IT skills, languages etc.) Extensive knowledge in: Runtime: JVM and Java applications stack OS: Linux, Linux kernel and variable releases: RHL, CentOS, Alpine etc Networking: TCP/IP, CoreDNS, Calico, CNI etc CICD: GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Bamboo, Travis CI, GitLab Containerization: CNCF foundation.
