Job Description

Technical Product Manager Technical Product Manager What We Have In Store For You: Ensure code is clean, effective, simple, and follows coding standards. Manage resources to ensure maximum output. Gain a comprehensive understanding of their projects and overall system and architecture. In a given time frame you need to get maximum and quality coding output from your team Keep current with the world s best practice techniques and train staff accordingly for your requirements. Understand the impact of change in requirement or bug fix from a functional perspective and take appropriate corrective action. Understand the impact of change in requirement or bug fix at the code level and Implement the code level change. Defects on live are the highest priority and should be fixed immediately regardless of time commitment Bind their system knowledge with the code. ( Multiple Product Level ) Should seek to clarify any business requirements for a team with the respective SDM in US (Perfectly understand all business requirements) Understand all processes regarding development (through PSI and Xento) Design and document best practice IT processes & systems for new products. Use Root Cause Analysis as a tool to highlight the team on shortcomings and immediate resolution of the same. You Fit The Bill If: Identify goals to be achieved by Team Leads and help them achieve them Be responsible for communicating KRA s to subordinates Ensure all team members get a fair evaluation on a regular basis Should be available whenever an urgent requirement or necessity to connect with US team pops up. Be able to recommend personnel changes. Lead through motivating all Xento employees (specifically your subordinates) Know the Strengths and weaknesses of all subordinates Promote Team Leads wherever possible (if a team member has a question, they should ask Team Lead first. Associate Manager should only help if Team Lead is busy or not able to resolve the query) Should work 1-on-1 with resources with approval of Module Lead Should be able to identify the resource capabilities and performance in the first 3 months of allocation to the team Members of the Team should never wait for their queries to be resolved. Build Subject Matter Expert for every team Identify goals to be achieved by Team Leads and help them achieve them Takes the directions from the director and spreads the same among the team. In a given time frame you need to get maximum output from your team Train Team Leads on Processes and create your replica. Keep yourself updated with recent technological developments and share the information with Team. Implements ongoing quality improvement processes working with interdepartmental teams. Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner. Desire to understand architecture for their products and related products perfectly Train team members for future increased responsibilities. R & D Good To Have: You are required to deliver 30 man-hours training in a year You are responsible for training and grooming your team as per the requirement of the company Assist T& D Dept in Development of training modules Keep the current trends in mind and the world s best practice of techniques and train staff accordingly for your requirements. You are required to identify the training needs of your team. You are required to manage on floor resources as well as forecast the future requirement well in advance. Help Hiring team for getting the new resources on board by taking interviews and encouraging team members for the same Should be able to suggest a next growth step for the team member, You are expected to suggest the same to HR team in writing.,
