Web QA Automation Engineer

Job Description

As a Web Quality Assurance Engineer at PTC, you will be leading QA Automation for ptc.com to ensure high-quality standards for all website updates and releases. Your responsibilities will include:- Planning, developing, documenting, and maintaining QA Automation- Performing functional testing, data validations, and regression testing- Helping create and improve standards, best practices, and processes for QA testing- Running all QA automation tests, investigating issues, and driving follow-up work- Taking ownership of designing and guiding testing tasks- Ensuring clean releases by regression testing existing functionality- Identifying issues, analyzing their impact, and prioritizing them- Ensuring new functionality meets all requirements of the functional specifications- Contributing in Scrum activities and staying involved in every stage of each ticket- Working closely with team members from all areas and creating/maintaining test cases- Using tools like Jira and Confluence to log bugs, track progress, and report test results- Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishQualifications required for this role include:- At least 5 years of QA Automation experience with Playwright, Selenium, JavaScript, and Python- At least 2 years of QA experience working with CMS platforms, Sitecore experience is highly preferred- Strong technical skills to create and run test scripts for various scenarios- Hands-on experience with cross-browser testing and knowledge of test simulation tools- QA testing experience in an Agile development environment- Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools is preferredAbout PTC:PTC is a global team of nearly 7,000 individuals who aim to create opportunities for team members to explore, learn, and grow while celebrating differences.
