Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • WordPress Developer who can manage and enhance website that perfectly meets the stated design and functionality specifications
  • Designing and building the website front-end, creating the website architecture.
  • Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration
  • Excellent knowledge of WordPress, Theme customization, Child Themes, Plugin customization, HTML/ CSS.
  • Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, J SON, and XML would be an advantage
  • Thorough knowledge of WordPress backend and front end.
  • Should have knowledge of readymade plugins and themes (install and set them)
  • Install, test, and debug WordPress plugins, and create WordPress plugins as needed.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites using the best practice & & de-facto standard plugins.
  • Evaluate designs, wireframes, and other deliverables for development feasibility and collaborate with designers as needed.
  • Contribute to cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent display in major supported browsers on Mac, PC, iOS, and Android.
  • Creation of custom post types.
  • Creation of clean, logical, well-documented, and re-usable code.
  • Theme/Template integration.
  • Good understanding cross-platform and cross-browser issues.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions
  • Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Ability to manage website project and releases. Good communication skills. Positive attitude
