Job Description

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress plugins, themes, and APIs to meet dynamic business requirements. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable PHP code adhering to industry standards and best practices. Integrate third-party APIs and services seamlessly into WordPress-based systems. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, frontend engineers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security in production environments. Work with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, etc.) for application hosting, deployment, and scaling. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to improving coding standards. Stay updated with emerging trends in PHP, WordPress, and cloud technologies.Required Qualifications and Experience: Educational Background: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).Experience: 3-5 yearsTechnical Skills: Proficiency in PHP 7 and object-oriented programming. Hands-on experience with WordPress plugin development and customization. Strong command of MySQL, database design, and optimization techniques. Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery. Familiarity with PHP frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter (preferred). Working knowledge of AWS services for deploying and managing applications. Version control with Git and experience with CI/CD pipelines. Good grasp of REST APIs, JSON, and API integrations. Awareness of secure coding practices (XSS, CSRF, SQL injection prevention).
