**CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE EXPOSURE TO DSLAM/ ACCESS HARDWARE** Should have the hands on experience working in Network operations environment Ability to identify and diagnose the Transmission faults in the core access networks DLSAM Technology knowledge. Needs Hardware & Operational know how on FTTX, GPON, G6, NEC AM31 and AM35 elements. Should know the core Network topology involving MSE-Router, B-RAS, IGR network elements Sound Knowledge of Transport network Elements like Alcatel, Ciena, Marconi, DACS etc. Sound understanding of Ethernet SDH, PDH and Optical principles Have a sound understanding of the key major vendors equipment Ciena, Nortel, Alcatel and Ericson. Preferable experience on Wire Line Devices: Digital subscriber line access multiplexer (DSLAM) /Exchange mounted system (the AM31) & cabinet mountable version (AM35) ATM Subscriber Access Multiplexer (ASAM) / POTS / BB-ISDN / Alcatel 7300 Alcatel-Lucent 7302 Intelligent Services Access Manager (ISAM) / GPON / VDSL2, FTTP / Alcatel 7342 Need Hardware knowledge on this box. CMUX NB & CMUX BB is Telstra Specific customized element. Need Hardware and Operational knowledge on this. Need hardware and Technology knowledge on this. RCMs were essentially superseded by RIMs. Demonstrate abilities in mentoring colleagues, providing direction on technical fix and process adherence
