Ph.D. in any branch of Veterinary Science/ Animal Science/ Fisheries/ Fishery Science and Dairy Science/ Dairy Technology/ Livestock Products Technology/Zoology.2. 12 years experience in teaching/ research/ extension out of which five years must be as Professor or equivalent.3. i) Administrative experience in responsible teaching/ research/ extension posts and ability to organize and supervise the work of others.ii) Substantial contributions to teaching/research and scholarship as evidenced by the teaching innovations/quality of papers published in professional journals of repute, adoption of results of research/extension education.• Assistant Professor (Veterinary Pathology)1. B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.V.Sc. with atleast second division2. Master’s Degree in relevant discipline with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks. 3. Matric level certificate of Punjabi language (if not, the candidate is required to pass the same within one year of appointment).• Assistant Professor (Veterinary Medicine)1. B.V.Sc. & A.H/ B.V.Sc. atleast with 2nd division from a VCI recognized institute.2. M.V.Sc. in Veterinary Medicine/ Clinical Veterinary Medicine/Clinical Veterinary Medicine Ethics & Jurisprudence with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.3. Matric level certificate of Punjabi language (if not, the candidate is required to pass the same within one year of appointment).• Assistant Professor (Dairy Chemistry)1. B.Sc./B.Sc. (Agri.)/ B.Tech./B.Sc. (Dairy Science & Technology) at least with second division.2. Matric level certificate of Punjabi language, if not, the candidate is required to pass the same within one year of appointment.
