Assistant Warehouse Manager

Job Description

Under the general supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Assistant Warehouse Managersupervises warehouse personnel and assists with the operation of the warehouses(e.g., receives, maintains inventory, coordinates deliveries, organizes orders).Maintains receiving and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Receive, inspect and store all standard storeroom stock and special order parts.
• Receiving, checking, recording, organizing and storing stock as it is received.
• Taking inventories of stock and products, ensuring that they are safely and properly stored.
• Dispatching and loading goods out of the warehouse for delivery.
