Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Training & Placement HOD. Roles and Responsibilities of the Director - Student Placement, Welfare & Career Advice1. Developing strategies for student internships and placements2. Developing network with industries in India and abroad, Universities in abroad for student internships3. Developing network with industries, business and other organizations for student placements4. Organizing specialist training programmes to students in order to improve their employability5. Organizing campus interviews for students6. Coordinating with members of the Faculty for Career Advice7. Organizing Career Advice sessions from specialist invitees8. List various student welfare measures and create plan of actions9. Act as a Guardian when a student is sick, met with any accidents 11. Responsible for Sports activities of the University12. Organizing Social Service Programmes13. Redress the student grievances through a committee14. Conduct quarterly Student Experiences Committee Meetings and initiate actions through appropriate channels15. Update membership of Alumni Council and organize Annual Alumni Day16. Nominate a Faculty Coordinator in consultation with Deans to coordinate Student Competitions and Exhibitions held within and outside the University17. Nominate a Faculty Coordinator in consultation with Deans to coordinate various Cultural Activities of the University18. Generate periodic Performance Reports and share with University performance review committee19. Plan the annual budget for the operation of the Directorate20. Any other activity related to Student Placement, Welfare & Career Advice,
