Job Description

    Department:Supply Chain Management (SCM)Role PurposeTo oversee and manage end-to-end supply chain operationsincluding procurement, inventory control, vendor management, budgeting, logistics, and HR-related departmental functionsto ensure smooth operations and cost efficiency.Key Responsibilities1. Human Resources Coordination (Department Level)
    • Plan manpower requirements and coordinate departmental recruitment.
    • Monitor employee performance and support training and development initiatives.
    • Drive employee engagement, motivation, and retention within the department.
    • Coordinate HR-related activities with the central HR team.
    • Handle conflict resolution and grievance management effectively.
    2. Budgeting & Financial Control
    • Prepare annual departmental budgets and track expenditure.
    • Approve expenses as per the authorization matrix.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to drive cost control and optimization.
    • Analyze financial reports and support profit improvement measures.
    • Ensure transparency and compliance during audits.
    • Contribute to the departmental P&L.
    3. Procurement & Inventory Management
    • Review Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and maintain optimal inventory levels.
    • Ensure timely procurement to meet business needs.
    • Lead vendor management, negotiations, and contract finalization.
    • Maintain quality standards throughout procurement activities.
    • Track logistics and deliveries to ensure timely fulfilment.
    • Ensure compliance with established quality norms for all materials.
    4. Sales & Marketing Support
    • Support sales teams with leads, branding material, and coordination.
    • Build partnerships and represent the function at industry events.
    • Collect customer feedback and implement service improvements.
    • Oversee advertisement-related activities, including coordination for ad shoots.
    • Supervise Visual Merchandising (VM) activities and design store displays.
    Required Skills & Competencies
    • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
    • Knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
    • Understanding of budgeting and financial processes.
    • Effective communication and coordination skills.
    • Ability to manage audits and ensure compliance.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
