• Policy and procedure:Develop, implement, and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
• Inspections and risk assessment:Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and perform risk assessments to evaluate the safety of work processes.
• Training and orientation:Provide safety training and orientations for all employees, ensuring they understand safety protocols and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Accident investigation:Investigate all accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Compliance and record-keeping:Ensure the workplace complies with all health and safety regulations and maintain accurate safety records and reports.
• Emergency preparedness:Oversee and train employees on emergency procedures and response protocols.
• Equipment and PPE:Ensure that safety equipment is properly maintained and that employees use the correct PPE for each task.
