This role is for the Developer Experience team that manages a variety of foundational systems like CI/CD, Development environments, and staging/demo environments. It is a high-leverage and high-visibility role which will have a direct impact on Ripplings shipping velocity.The DevX team plays a critical role in accelerating Ripplings engineering velocity, enhancing the efficiency and experience of over 1,000 engineers to help them build products faster. Our impact is measured in productivity gains, better developer UX, and cost efficiency, ensuring that engineering teams can focus on shipping high-quality features with minimal friction.What Youll Do

• Develop high-quality and reliable software using Python, Golang, and other relevant programming languages
• Experience in managing and optimizing development environments and CI infrastructure.
• Conceive and build tools that improve engineering productivity
• Manage the AWS Infrastructure to power the developer environments of hundreds of engineers.
• Build relationships with the engineering teams to understand their needs and help improve their day-to-day workflows
• Lead multi-quarter projects that tackle complex, high-impact problems requiring organizational alignment and customer buy-in.

Qualifications

• 8 years of proven experience as a backend/infrastructure engineer
• Deep Experience with Python, Go, or Typescript
• Bonus Experience with Developer Experience tech (CI/CD/Docker/test frameworks/build tools/IDE plugin development)
• Cloud technologies (AWS/Kubernetes/Terraform/MongoDB/PostgreSQL)
• Passion for improving developer productivity and building scalable systems
