Job Description

Position: Legal Operations SpecialistCompany: YouTubeLocation: SingaporeGoogle will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Googles sponsorship of a visa.Minimum qualifications:

Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in content moderation, law, policy, operations, or related fields.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working with internet technologies, related policy and regulatory environments, content moderation, and support operations.
Experience with SQL and spreadsheets.
Demonstrated business judgment, combined with influencing and communication skills, and ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners across geographies.
Excellent communicator with great people and presentation skills.
Demonstrated analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action.
Ability to communicate in English and another local Asian language (i.e., Malay, Hindi, Korean, Japanese, Mandarin, etc.) fluently to work with key regional partners across APAC.

Process removal requests efficiently and accurately, including trademark issues, privacy issues, defamation issues, court orders, law enforcement requests, and requests from government agencies.
Identify and drive process improvements and infrastructure solutions to scale our operations and enhance operational quality.
Design and execute policy and guidance development and implementation, and engage with cross-functional partners to drive changes.
Be available for occasional remunerated on-call coverage during the weekend (~1-2 times per quarter).
Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding YouTubes legal removals processes. Review graphic, controversial, and sometimes offensive video content.
