The engineer will interact with the technical support, managed support, and service provisioning teams.Operational experience with many or all of the following. Working experience of Cisco Routers, Switches, and firewall. Ensure stable and reliable ISP network services Network Technologies or tools, MRTG or CACTI or Netflow Network troubleshooting and fault analysis. Installation of network hardware and software. Familiar working in a data centre environment. Work closely with the SOC team, and other colleagues or vendors, in troubleshooting problems. Enhance various information security implementations (for instance SOC, DLP, Classification, Endpoint Encryption etc) Develop and assist in implementing various security programs for the organization Management of day-to-day security operations Background on VPN, SSL, other encryption methodology or technology is a plus Play a vital role in enhancing the security posture of the organization Support and Incident Management Change Management Ability to contribute and work as a team member Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Good oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Capable of working/using own initiative with minimal supervision.DESIGNATION & LEVEL Security Specialist - Network and Security OperationOBJECTIVE OF POSITIONCORE RESPONSILITIES Sound understanding and hands on experience of implementation of security solutions such as Web Application Firewall, Database Access Monitoring, Network/Host/Email APT, Privilege Identity Access Management, Mobile Device & Application Management, Encryption , 2 Factor Authentication, Network Access Control and Data leakage prevention solution. Perform periodic assessment of all security solution implementation and address/enhance existing implemented solution. Keep all security solution up to date with latest stable version and maintain HA/DR for all security solutions. Drive end to end security solution selection to implementation process which includes conduct POC of solutions, prepare technical comparison, preparing solution requirement document, floating of RFP, selection of vendor, creating deployment plan, tracking and updating the deployment status. Understanding of SIEM, rule/report/alert creation and managing the resolutions. Subject matter expertise on all information security processes and maintain all technology according to required standards as per best practices & regulatory compliance. Design and enforce all security standards and procedures in all system security processes. Provide directions and resolve issues/queries raised by all users without impacting the security posture of organization. Administer all security incidents handling and participate in all mitigation processes. Prepare and maintain all documents for all processes and manage all security solutions for information network and prepare all training materials for site personnel to increase security performance and perform various tests on all security products and systems.
