Job Description

    Job Title: Electrician MaintenanceDepartment: Maintenance Location: Wada, Thane Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance Manager Industry: Chemical / Process ManufacturingJob Summary:We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician with an ITI certification and 34 years of experience in electrical maintenance within the chemical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure smooth and safe plant operations.Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform routine and preventive electrical maintenance of machinery, control panels, motors, lighting systems, and other electrical equipment.
    • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in industrial equipment and systems.
    • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company protocols.
    • Support in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and electrical systems.
    • Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, daily checklists, and breakdown reports.
    • Coordinate with production and other departments to minimize downtime.
    • Monitor and maintain electrical inventory, tools, and spare parts.
    • Follow all EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines and ensure safe working practices at all times.
    • Respond promptly to breakdown calls and assist in emergency repairs.
    Qualifications & Experience:
    • Education:
    • ITI in Electrician Trade (recognized institute)
    • Experience:
    • 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance in the chemical or process industry
    Key Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and components
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
    • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting motors, PLCs, panels, and control systems
    • Good understanding of safety procedures in hazardous environments
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency maintenance tasks
