Job Description

    Position : Expediter / InspectorDepartment: Supply Chain/ ProcurementExperience : 5 yrs. 8 yrs.Qualification : BE/ DiplomaPreferred Industry :Oil & GasLocation :ThaneJob Type :Permanent
    1. Visits to suppliers in India (or maybe abroad but mainly in India), for monitoring progress of activities or for inspections / tests (in accordance with the ITP - inspection test plan or quality control plan applicable), in complex multidisciplinary projects in the plant engineering field (Oil & Gas, Power, LNG, Renewable Energies etc.), both in the private and public sector, in accordance with company procedures and / or in accordance with applicable regulations and specifications.
    1. Coordination with the technical office for technical verification of the applicable specifications to verify that the manufactured product is in accordance with what is required.
    1. Verification / monitoring that the progress of the suppliers activities is in accordance with the time schedule, project specifications, best practices in the sector and quality procedures, in order to guarantee completion of the work in the expected time and according to the expected quality, customer satisfaction and propensity towards energy and environmental sustainability issues.
    1. Issuing of expediting and inspection reports in accordance with company procedures.
    1. Monitoring and follow up of suppliers.
    1. Qualification of suppliers (prequalification and evaluation performance).
    1. Coordination with other procurement disciplines in the corporate share service (share service purchasing, desk expediting, shipping, etc.).
    1. Coordination with other corporate functions (project management, construction, etc.).
    1. Participation in periodic planning and coordination meetings.
