Job Description

Position Vacant:Lead /Senior Naval Architect - Concept Department: Concept & Forward engg. TeamJob Description / Responsibilities :The selected candidate is expected to carry out following activities: Concept Design of Ships - Prepare general arrangement for various types of vessels, perform basic naval architectural calculations of vessel sizing, lines plan development, resistance & powering, bollard pull calculations, propeller design, midship section Design, steel MTO and lightship weight estimation. Candidate with CFD analysis experience will be preferred. Candidate should have experience in CFD Analysis for Bare Hull Resistance, Self-Propulsion Analysis etc. Mooring analysis experience will be considered as additional. Other than, above activities, responsibility also extends to Team management - Building the capability of the team by carrying regular training and supporting the recruitment process. Establish and implement good work practice in department.Qualification:BE / B. Tech in Naval Architecture Keywords Stability, Design, Ship, Naval, Analysis, Concept, CFD, PropulsionDesired profile of the candidate:Candidates having experience in shipyard or design office of consulting engineering companies will be preferred. Good knowledge of vessel types, ship propulsion, structure, stability, equipment layout is desired.Exp.
