Job Description

As a Network Infrastructure Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and supporting the implementation of strategic network-related projects and transformations. Your responsibilities will include:- Leading the architecture, design, and implementation of secure, scalable, and highly available network infrastructure solutions across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments.- Supporting the architecture, design, and integration of voice and network solutions including WAN, LAN, WiFi, DNS, VoIP, SIP, Unified Communications (UC), Contact Center technologies, and collaboration platforms.- Leading the definition of the Global Network strategy roadmap in alignment with overall IT and Enterprise Architecture strategies supporting the business needs and objectives.- Designing and recommending network solutions that are well-integrated with existing infrastructure, ensuring modernization, interoperability, cost-efficiency, security, and scalability.- Designing automation and orchestration capabilities in network provisioning and configuration using modern techniques, fostering agility and operational efficiency.- Ensuring network designs incorporate security best practices, data protection principles, and compliance with global and local standards and policies.- Contributing to the design and implementation of network performance monitoring and optimization strategies.- Identifying and driving the adoption of innovative networking technologies that support digital transformation initiatives aligned with business needs.- Collaborating with various teams to deliver robust and reliable networking services.- Maintaining accurate documentation of architecture decisions, designs, standards, and best practices.Competencies required for this role include proven expertise in designing network infrastructure solutions, strong knowledge of enterprise network protocols, routing and switching, expertise in enterprise voice technologies, and experience with automation tools and infrastructure monitoring platforms.Qualifications needed for this position are a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, relevant certification for IT Architecture (e.g., TOGAF), and certification in ITIL. In terms of experience, you should have a minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with at least 8 years in Network Architecture. Additionally, specialized experience in leading global IT infrastructure projects, experience in Manufacturing / ShopFloor IT, and experience in the Medical industry would be beneficial.This summary provides an overview of the responsibilities, competencies, and qualifications required for the Network Infrastructure Solution Architect role.
