Job Description

    Job Title: Section Incharge (Production Manager)Department: Production Location:Wada, ThaneReports to: Plant Head / Operations Manager Industry: PaintJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Section Incharge (Production Manager) to oversee day-to-day production operations. The ideal candidate will hold an M.Sc. in Chemistry or a B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering and have 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in production management within a manufacturing environment. A strong understanding of EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) practices is essential.Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead and manage the production section to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing processes.
    • Monitor daily operations and ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
    • Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes and resources to achieve production targets.
    • Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, equipment, and raw materials.
    • Implement and enforce EHS policies and standards to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
    • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.
    • Maintain production documentation, including batch records, logs, and reports.
    • Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production efficiency and cost optimization.
    • Train, mentor, and supervise production staff to enhance team performance and morale.
    Qualifications & Experience:
    • Education:
    • M.Sc. in Chemistry or
    • B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering
    • Experience:
    • 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in production operations, preferably in a process or chemical manufacturing environment.
    • Strong exposure to EHS protocols and compliance standards.
    Key Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
    • Sound knowledge of production planning and control
    • Familiarity with EHS norms and statutory requirements
    • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Good communication and coordination abilities
    • Proficient in MS Office and production management systems
