Role Overview:As a Senior Associate in the Advisory line of service at PwC, you will specialize in business application consulting services, focusing on helping clients optimize their operational efficiency through the analysis of client needs, implementation of software solutions, and providing training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications. Your role will involve providing consulting services for a wide range of business applications, leveraging a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in achieving their strategic objectives.Key Responsibilities:- Set up technical standards and governance structure for the enterprise.- Deploy and manage Kubernetes at scale in production environments.- Utilize cloud-native tools and patterns such as Istio, Envoy, or Prometheus for microservices monitoring and management.- Implement event-driven systems using tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS for inter-service communication.- Work on multi-cloud deployments and hybrid cloud strategies.- Use gRPC for high-performance communication between microservices.- Employ service mesh tools like Istio or Linkerd for managing service-to-service communication, observability, and security.- Implement OAuth 2.0, JWT, and other authentication/authorization protocols.- Understand Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.- Demonstrate proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Travis CI for automating the deployment process.- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and scaling of microservices in production environments.- Communicate effectively with frontend and backend teams to ensure smooth integration between microservices and other parts of the application.- Write clear, concise documentation for developed microservices, APIs, and deployment procedures.- Design microservices to be horizontally scalable and handle varying traffic loads.- Write unit and integration tests using testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, or Mocha.- Adhere to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.- Work in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.Qualifications Required:- Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT field with at least 2 years in the Banking/Financial Sector post under-graduation.- Mandatory certification in any of the following: - Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) - Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) - Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) - Microsoft Certified: Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Developer Associate - Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration- Expertise in: - Designing independently deployable services - Frameworks such as Spring Boot, Express.js, Gin/Gorilla, FastAPI/Flask - Database Integration including SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra) - Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for managing containerized microservices- Hands-on experience with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.- Designing RESTful APIs and using Swagger/OpenAPI for API documentation.- Knowledge of API security protocols like OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect and JWT-based authentication.Additional Company Details:At PwC, you will be part of a purpose-led and values-driven work environment that encourages innovation and technology to create distinctive outcomes for clients and communities.
