Job Description

    Opening for Senior Merchandiser for well known CompanyLocation : Juhu & Kalaghoda, MumbaiExperience : 2-3 yearsSalary : 4-6 lac p.a.Job Description
    • We are looking for a Sr. Merchandiser who can handle Order collection, Product development,Order confirmation, Material sourcing, Material collection, Production planning, Quality Assurance, Final inspection, Shipment.
    • Carrying out End to End (P2P) Procurement OF Fabrics.
    • Receiving Purchase Requisition (PRs) from design Team.
    • Coordinating with the planning and user team for better understanding of requirements.
    • Strategic way of categorizing the vendors based on supplier service level and spending
    • Developing new suppliers who can bring value add to our organization.
    • Commercial evaluation and negotiation of proposals for lowest price, payment terms and early delivery timeline.
    • Generating Purchase order (PO) in ready software and getting approval from dept. head as per authority matrix.
    • Coordination with the Planning Team for Demand Forecast and Logistic Team for timely pick up of the material and delivery.
    • Follow up with suppliers and ensure to meet delivery schedules against our POS
    • Ensuring availability of sufficient stock for Production and keeping eye on safety stock to avoid production stoppage risk.
    • Maintaining proper and up to date record of all transactions.
    • Verification of Invoice against PO and GRN Receipts.
    • Follow up with the finance team for on time payment and recording outstanding payment.
