Job Description

    • Job Title: Shift Instrument Engineer (Thane Dist.)
    • Department: Electrical & Instrumentation
    • Reports to: Sr. Manager- E&IManager
    1 Years experienced ; must have experience of instrumentation maintenance workOverview:In order to cater the requirements of design, develop, install and maintain equipment to monitor and control machinery.Duties and Responsibilities:
    1. Handle the plant shift activities independently.
    2. Safety measurement & Housekeeping to be maintain in plant.
    3. Manpower handling & controlling.
    4. Reporting plant performance & down time in shifts.
    5. Highlighting problems faced in shift & following up to ensure same is rectified
    6. Major breakdown and for unsolved problems informing to seniors
    7. Depend on case of spares requirement opening stores in shift.
    8. Update History Cards.
    9. Keep Drawings & Manuals in proper locations.
    10. Preventive maintenance schedule to be follow.
    11. Calibration of all instruments to be done as per ISO standard.
    12. Preventive maintenance of equipment to be done as per schedule
    Educational Qualification:
    • BE / Diploma- Instrumentation
    Experience:
    • Minimum 1 years of Experience in Instrumentation field
    Competencies/Basis Requirements:
    • Basic knowledge of PLC programming is sufficient
    • Experience in basic programming on AC Drives
    • Experience in Fault finding in PLC and control circuit
    • Experience into Field Instrumentation
    • Experience in calibration of field equipment is required but dont want candidates who have worked only as calibration engineers
    • Experience working in Plant
    • Comfortable with Rotational Shift.
