Job Description

Analyse, design and support applications that interface with SQL and also strong development exposure to Cloud Analytics like Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Amazon RDS etcEssential Functions of the Job

  • Work closely with various teams and stakeholders and help deliver the results
  • Learn and adapt new trends and techniques in the area of SQL, No SQL
  • Responsibly own project tasks and take it through completion
  • Proactively help improve processes and learnings in the team
  • Experience in SQL Server 2008/2012, Cosmos DB, Mongo DB
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities
  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
Knowledge and Skills RequirementsEssential:
  • Expert T-SQL / Stored Procedure development skills in SQL Server
  • Expert Skills in Database design
  • Strong Indexing / Performance Optimization techniques
  • Strong Azure SQL, Data Factory, Data Lake, SSIS Skills
  • Microsoft development technologies (Visual Studio, TFS)
  • Experience in SQL Server 2008/2012
Desirable
  • Power BI/Tableau development exposure
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Certifications in SQL Server
  • Experience in SQL Server 2014, MS BI
