Job Description

    Job Purpose:The Branch Head - Direct Channel is responsible for leading, managing, and driving sales performance through direct sales channels at the branch level. The role involves ensuring that the direct sales team meets or exceeds sales targets, maintains high customer service standards, and follows operational guidelines.Key Responsibilities:
    1. Team Leadership & Management:
      • Lead and manage the direct sales team to meet branch sales targets.
      • Provide coaching, training, and performance management to the sales team members.
      • Conduct regular team meetings to review targets, performance, and resolve issues.
      • Motivate and drive the team to achieve high productivity levels and maintain positive morale.
    2. Sales Performance & Target Achievement:
      • Ensure the direct channel team achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
      • Monitor sales performance on an ongoing basis and identify opportunities to improve sales.
      • Implement strategies to optimize the sales pipeline and increase conversion rates.
      • Analyze sales data and identify trends to forecast and adjust sales goals effectively.
    3. Customer Relationship Management:
      • Oversee the development and maintenance of strong customer relationships.
      • Ensure that customer queries and issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
      • Implement customer retention strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    4. Operational Excellence & Compliance:
      • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
      • Oversee day-to-day branch operations to ensure smooth functioning of direct sales activities.
      • Manage inventory, ensure proper documentation, and maintain accurate sales records.
    5. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:
      • Work closely with marketing, product, and support teams to align sales strategies and meet customer needs.
      • Collaborate with other branches or departments for shared resources and best practices.
      • Report regularly to senior management on team performance, branch progress, and market insights.
    6. Training & Development:
      • Identify skill gaps in the team and organize training sessions to bridge those gaps.
      • Support the onboarding process for new direct sales team members.
      • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for continuous development.
    7. Budgeting & Financial Management:
      • Manage branch budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective operations.
      • Optimize resource utilization for maximum profitability.
