Job Description

Requirement : Data Engineer - 1 - Python & Hadoop developerRequired Skills & ExperienceDevelop optimal data pipeline architecture to promote data into various layers such as Ingestion, Sanitised, Storage and Consumption.Data Modelling: Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.Build the data infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL/NoSQL, data streams and AWS big data technologies.Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Data Owners and Design/support teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs.Provide input to business and IT for existing and future solutions in support of Data Lake & Analytics programs in the organisation.Develop and enhance data quality techniques at the data lake environments.Technical Skills & Domain Knowledge

  • AWS (EMR,RDS,S3 &Lambda)
  • Hadoop technologies (Spark, Hive, Hue , Sqoop, Ranger, Tez, YARN, Ganglia, Presto)
  • Python or Scala programming languages
  • Informatica (IICS)
  • ETL Tools
  • Scheduling IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler
  • Strong experience with SQL language
  • NoSQL or PostgreSQL Databases
  • Optimisation and automation of CI/CD pipeline
  • Understanding of the distributed Agile SDLC model.
  • Machine Learning, Deep Learning and AI (Any prior experience is beneficial, not essential)
Expertise in Asset Management industry (Preferred),
