Achieving academic excellence requires that the school Principal work collaboratively to direct and nurture all members of the school staff hired by the Board of Directors. The Principal is responsible for scheduling, curriculum development, extracurricular activities, personnel management, emergency procedures, and facility operations. Primary Duties Responsibilities The Principal is directly responsible for the following key tasks: Provision of full information to the Board on all issues pertaining to the College; Implementation of its overall policies and provision of advice to the Board on policy matters and forward planning; Direction, conduct, management, organization and tone of the College and for the overall supervision of all College activities; Appointment, care, professional development and dismissal of staff, with the agreement of the College Administrator and the Managing Director Management of the College finances , buildings and infrastructure Exercise of a leadership role in managing relationships and building a collaborative team; Provision of educational leadership, planning, implementation and monitoring of the academic curricular and co-curricular programs; Academic, personal and social development of students, their enrolment and dismissal; Active participation in appropriate professional educational organizations; Maintenance of a co-operative and supportive atmosphere within the College community and between the College and the broader community.
