Job Description

Experience: 5+ YrsWork Location: TrivandrumKey skills required:

  • In Sync with latest developments in mobile technology and applications.
  • Well informed regarding Mobile form factors, Mobile OS.
  • Good knowledge of MySQL and experience with SQL Databases & connectivity framework
  • Experience in any Web Technology test automation tool such as Selenium with Core Java, JMeter, and Cucumber etc.
  • Good verbal communication and documentation skills.
  • Explain and teach basic coding standards for junior members of the team.
  • Good Knowledge in C#, Java, Python, Selenium, Appium, JavaScript.
  • Good Knowledge in iOs and Android tools for automation, performance testing.
  • Perform manual testing to understand features and architecture of our products.
  • Design and maintain Automation frameworks.
  • Experience in performance testing of Mobile application and database testing.
  • Develop test strategy and plan including test approach, test script and test data.
  • Prepare and submit status reports. Lead the functional/technical track of a project and
  • Knowledge in security testing for Mobile, Web and cloud application.
  • As a Test Engineer, you should be comfortable (and love) to navigate massive codebases, identify(read as discover) weak spots and constantly design better and creative ways to crash the software and identify potential problems.
  • You use your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote proper engineering practice, bug prevention strategies, testability, accessibility, privacy, and other advanced quality concepts across products.
  • Work closely with development teams in instrumenting their workflow to build a comprehensive picture of velocity, coverage and quality Hands-on ability to automate repeated tasks and build test coverage through existing or new infrastructure Write moderately complex code/scripts to test systems, implementing test harnesses and infrastructure as necessary.
Desirable skills:
  • Preference to candidates who has experience in consumer mobile apps, test automation implementation.
  • Experience in testing cloud-based systems
  • Understanding analytics will be very advantageous.
  • Experience in SoapUI
  • Knowledge of API testing, Rest and Soap.
  • Sound knowledge in agile and a professional attitude!
