Our platform brings together intelligent workflows, automation, analytics, and monetization tools to simplify the creator journey end-to-end.Learn more: https://incubrix.com/Role OverviewThis role is critical to building and scaling IncuBrixs engineering organization in India and ensuring successful execution of our product roadmap.As a hands-on Engineering Manager, you will lead teams building AI pipelines, creator workflows, backend platforms, and internal systems, while also contributing directly to design, development, and code reviews.You will be responsible for delivery, quality, people development, system reliability, and technical excellence across multiple product modules.You will work closely with Founders, Product, AI, Design, and GTM teams to translate product vision into reliable, scalable, and monetizable systems.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering Leadership & Hands-On DevelopmentLead, mentor, and manage software and AI engineers across multiple product modulesActively participate in system design, coding, debugging, and optimizationReview pull requests, architecture proposals, and technical documentsBuild a high-performance, ownership-driven engineering cultureSupport hiring, onboarding, and team scalingCoach and develop junior and mid-level engineers and future tech leadsDelivery & ExecutionOwn sprint planning, execution, and release commitmentsDrive PRD/TRD execution from requirements to productionBreak down complex initiatives into executable engineering plansEnsure on-time delivery of AI-powered features and workflowsManage cross-team dependencies, risks, and bottlenecksTrack progress, quality metrics, and delivery outcomesPlatform, AI & Product SystemsOversee and contribute to development of AI pipelines (text-to-video, audio, avatars, analytics, automation, LLM workflows)Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIsDesign and optimize data pipelines, storage, and retrieval systemsEnsure reliability, latency, and cost-efficiency of AI workloadsLead integrations with third-party AI, cloud, and media providersEstablish standards for MLOps and production AI systemsQuality, Security & OperationsEstablish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and quality gatesDefine and enforce coding, documentation, and review standardsMaintain production stability, observability, and incident responseEnsure security, data privacy, and compliance standardsManage cloud infrastructure, cost optimization, and resource planningImprove DevOps, monitoring, and release management maturityCross-Functional Collaboration & Business EnablementPartner closely with Product, Design, AI Research, Sales, and GTM teamsTranslate business goals, monetization strategies, and customer needs into technical roadmapsSupport customer pilots, beta users, and enterprise clientsProvide regular progress, risk, and roadmap updates to leadershipContribute to technical due diligence, partnerships, and investor discussions when requiredRequirementsExperience612 years of experience in software engineering2 years in Engineering Manager / Tech Lead / Staff Engineer rolesProven experience leading teams of 310 engineersHands-on experience delivering SaaS, AI, or platform products to productionExperience working in fast-growing startup environmentsTechnical SkillsStrong backend development background (Python / React.js / Go)Solid frontend exposure (React.js preferred)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP preferred)Microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, distributed systemsDatabases: PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB / Redis / Vector DBsCI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes (preferred)Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, media/video pipelines, or MLOps is a strong plusLeadership & MindsetStrong people management, mentoring, and communication skillsBuilder mindset with high ownership and accountabilityAbility to balance speed, quality, scalability, and costComfortable working in ambiguous, fast-changing environmentsPassion for building products that creators loveGood to HaveExperience building creator, media, or content platformsExperience scaling products from MVP to growth stagePrior experience setting up India R&D teamsExperience mentoring fresh graduates and About
