Industrial Engineer (Production)

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Industrial Engineer (Production) to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency across the production floor. The candidate will be responsible for studying workflows, designing efficient systems, reducing costs, and ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained. This role involves close collaboration with production, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve operational excellence.Key Responsibilities
• Analyze and design production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Develop workflow layouts, line balancing, and process improvements to support continuous production.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, output, downtime, and efficiency.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and maintenance teams to improve product manufacturability.
• Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Prepare production cost analysis and suggest cost-reduction strategies.
• Support automation and technology upgrades on the production floor.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Train operators and supervisors on best practices and new procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Industrial Engineer in production or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization tools.
• Proficiency in CAD software, ERP/MRP systems, and production planning tools.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
• Manufacturing/production plant environment.
• Requires interaction with operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
• May involve extended standing or movement on the production floor.
