Job Description

    As a Business Unit Head (Technical & Operations) for the Temperature & Pressure Gauges business division, your role will involve leading the end-to-end technology, engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions. The primary objective is to scale the current pilot setup with ~6 Cr annual despatches to ~35 Cr in 3 years. You are expected to be a senior technical leader in the gauges industry, taking ownership of product excellence, operational efficiency, and technology upgrades.Location: Udaipur, RajasthanQualifications:- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Production engineering- Strong background in product engineering, manufacturing, quality, calibration & standardExperience:- 10-15 years in Instrumentation (min 6-8 years in Gauges)- Proven exposure to companies like WIKA, General Instruments, Excel Instruments, Baumer, or Ashcroft- Strong understanding of product design, calibration, quality standards, and customer application requirementsKey Responsibilities:- **Technical & Product Leadership:** - Lead product design, engineering, and value-engineering of mechanical temperature & pressure gauges - Ensure product compliance with EN, ASME, DIN, IS, and relevant industry standards - Drive accuracy, reliability improvements, and calibration standardization - Work with R&D on integration of transmitters, sensors & digital displays into gauge offerings- **Manufacturing & Operations:** - Oversee machining, assembly, calibration, testing, and production planning - Implement lean manufacturing, process control, and quality improvement systems (ISO, CE, ATEX, etc.) - Ensure scalability of production with cost, quality, and delivery performance benchmarks - Lead vendor development and supply chain improvements for critical components- **Quality & Customer Application Support:** - Strengthen quality systems, field performance, and warranty metrics - Support customers and channel partners with application engineering for OEMs, projects & process industries - Work with service and post-sales teams for continuous product feedback and improvement- **Cross-Functional Leadership & Growth Support:** - Collaborate with Business Head & Sales for new product introductions, industry approvals, and market expansion - Provide technical training to sales, service, and channel partners - Build and develop a strong engineering, production & QA team,
