Job Description

    As a Geotechnical Engineer specializing in machine analysis, you will be responsible for conducting detailed geotechnical investigations for projects involving heavy machinery operations. Your tasks will include analyzing the interaction between soil/rock and construction or industrial machinery, performing machine vibration and dynamic load analysis, evaluating bearing capacity and settlement behavior under static and dynamic machine loads, recommending ground improvement techniques, and utilizing geotechnical software tools for simulation and modeling. Additionally, you will prepare technical reports, collaborate with other teams, monitor field activities during construction, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed geotechnical investigations for projects involving heavy machinery operations- Analyze the interaction between soil/rock and construction or industrial machinery- Perform machine vibration and dynamic load analysis using appropriate modeling techniques- Evaluate the bearing capacity and settlement behavior under static and dynamic machine loads- Recommend ground improvement techniques or foundation solutions- Utilize geotechnical software tools for simulation and modeling- Prepare technical reports and provide engineering recommendations- Collaborate with other teams to ensure integrated project delivery- Monitor field activities and machine operations during construction- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, safety standards, and regulationsQualifications:- Bachelors degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering (Masters preferred)- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering with a focus on machine analysis- Strong background in geotechnical design and machine-soil behavior- Familiarity with machine vibration studies and dynamic analysis- Proficiency in engineering analysis software- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Professional Engineer (PE) license or working toward licensure- Ability to travel to project sites and perform fieldwork as requiredIn addition to a competitive salary, this full-time position offers health insurance, life insurance, and provident fund benefits.
