Job Description

    Role Overview:As a member of the RDIT team at our organization, your role will involve actively embracing the values and philosophy of the organization and department. You will make efficient contributions to the overall success by driving innovation and team performance in alignment with set objectives and targets. Ensuring the security of intellectual property for PI R&D will be a key responsibility, including patent applications and ensuring freedom-to-operate. It will be essential for you to stay updated on scientific and domain knowledge related to computational methodologies, bioinformatics tools, databases in enzyme engineering & discovery, digitalization, and data analytics. Additionally, you will support the Team Leader by focusing on target setting and seeking functional feedback. You will also be responsible for preparing and delivering strategic presentations to convey key findings and ideas to project teams and management.Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with research project stakeholders to achieve and surpass targets within specified timeframes.- Play an essential role in Computational enzyme engineering, in silico enzyme discovery, enzyme evolution analysis, Genomics, transcriptomic analysis, Protein modeling, and simulations using various computational tools.- Utilize programming and scripting skills to automate processes and enhance productivity.- Keep updated with industry developments by learning new tools and technologies, testing and validating new programs, and sharing important industry developments with key stakeholders.- Follow standard operating procedures, share regular reports, comply with information/data integrity and security policies, and continuously document and report research results.- Actively participate in technical and functional meetings, foster a culture of knowledge sharing, and maintain healthy working relationships with related teams and departments in PI R&D.Qualifications Required:- PhD in bioinformatics/computational biology or related field with a background in biology/chemistry/physics or informatics from a reputed University/Institute with excellent academic credentials.- Research experience of over 3 years in relevant industries and/or high-ranking academic institutes handling and analyzing scientific data to support enzyme engineering and biologicals.- Experience with commercial/open-source bioinformatics and modeling tools, databases, scripting, and programming languages.- Proficiency in working on cloud (AWS) and HPC servers in LINUX/UNIX environments.- Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders and experience in the agro-chemical space would be an advantage.Please note that interested candidates are requested to share their resumes on hidden_email.,
