Job Description

    The role requires you to actively embody the values and philosophy of the organization and the department. Your efficient contributions will be crucial to the overall success of RDIT by driving innovation and team performance in alignment with objectives and targets. It is imperative to ensure the security of intellectual property for PI R&D, including patent applications and ensuring freedom-to-operate. You will need to continuously update your scientific and domain knowledge by staying abreast of recent literature on computational methodologies, bioinformatics tools, databases in enzyme engineering & discovery, as well as tools for digitalization and data analytics. Supporting the Team Leader with a special focus on target setting and actively seeking functional feedback will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, preparing and delivering strategic presentations to convey key findings, computational results, and ideas to project teams and management will be expected.You will work closely with research project stakeholders to achieve and surpass targets within specified timeframes. Your role will be essential in Computational enzyme engineering, in silico enzyme discovery, enzyme evolution analysis, Genomics, transcriptomic analysis, Protein modelling, and simulations using advanced sampling techniques, immunogenicity prediction, peptide design, and property prediction through computational tools like Rosetta, Phyre2, Genious Prime, Sequence Read Aligner, BLAST, ClustalW, Bioconductor, Schrodinger, AMBER/GROMACS, etc. Utilizing programming and scripting skills to automate processes and improve effectiveness and productivity is required. Being proactive in learning new tools and technologies, ideating, testing, and validating to launch new programs and initiatives is encouraged. It is essential to stay updated on competition, industry, and domain analysis and share significant developments with key stakeholders. Adherence to standard operating procedures, sharing regular reports, and compliance with all information/data integrity and security policies are mandatory. Continuous documentation and reporting of all research results within your area of responsibility are crucial. Providing regular updates on the functional progress/issues of the project and seeking support from the Team Leader when needed is expected. Actively engaging in technical and functional meetings of the team, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, and maintaining positive working relationships with related teams and departments in PI R&D are essential aspects of this role.The preferred candidate profile includes holding a PhD in bioinformatics/computational biology or a related field with a background in biology/chemistry/physics or informatics from a reputable University/Institute with outstanding academic credentials and 3-10 years of experience.Interested candidates are requested to share their resumes with the following details:- Current CTC- Expected CTC- Total Years of Experience- Notice PeriodKindly send your resumes to hidden_email.,
