Job Description

    As a Team Member - Procurement in the R&D department of ETF located in Udaipur, your main responsibility will be to assist the SCM Manager in demand forecasting, sourcing, logistics planning, and delivery of various materials to end users in the R&D business unit. You will also play a key role in managing vendors and ensuring compliance with processes.- Assist SCM Manager (TL) in preparing demand forecasts for required items based on project plans.- Communicate requirements to vendors and suppliers with detailed material specifications, quantities, and delivery dates.- Create purchase orders and ensure their release with necessary approvals.- Manage documentation for the import of necessary materials and goods.- Monitor shipment statuses and keep users informed of progress to ensure timely delivery of materials.- Ensure compliance with all procurement and delivery procedures.- Handle import activities for raw materials and consumables in coordination with other team members.- Stay updated on changes impacting product supply and demand.- Participate in project-related procurement activities as needed.- Contribute to CAPEX procurement for the R&D unit.- Assist in documenting procedures for vendor management and facilitate meetings between vendors and users.- Coordinate with vendors to resolve any delivery issues or discrepancies in specifications or quantities.- Implement improvement projects in procurement and supply chain processes in collaboration with stakeholders and SCM managers.- Update trackers and prepare MIS/dashboards for specified metrics.- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures related to procurement and supply chain processes.- Support Regulatory affairs, QA & IPR departments by providing technical documents of raw materials and advance intermediates.- Track SCM and procurement budgets and escalate deviations to the Manager.- Provide assistance to the Manager in price negotiations with existing or new vendors.Qualifications Required:- Education: BSc. (preferably with chemistry), additional certification in Supply Chain management/Warehouse management is desirable, MBA in Operations/Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.- Work Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement activities, preferably in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry, ideally in an R&D organization.- Industry Experience: Agro Chemical/Pharma.- Functional Competencies: Purchase knowledge related to Chemistry R&D, Advocacy & Negotiation Skills, Excellent Knowledge of Procurement Processes (demand forecasting processes, vendor empanelment & management, rates negotiations, vendor performance management), Knowledge of SAP.,
