As a Program Manager at Google, youll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Its your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.As the Program Manager Regional Lead for Workforce Development EMEA, youll manage the programs necessary to address the mission-critical talent and pipeline needed to realize and sustain Google Data Centers (GDC) near and longer-term business goals in your region. As a member of the Economic and Community Development Team, youll manage infrastructure development programs in workforce development and will be accountable for an increasing number of vendors and partners, globally across your region. You will generate ideas for new project initiatives and possible market opportunities related to workforce development initiatives and engagement with key stakeholders, in your region. • Manage multiple large, cross-functional matrixed programs and projects to meet Workforce Development (WFD) objectives across your region; outline and track key initiatives, goals, and metrics for success.
• Provide regular reporting on labor market trends, program performance, and workforce growth across the data center portfolio in your region; prepare and present reports on program progress, impact, and metrics.
• Build and maintain key cross-functional internal relationships to better address labor market risks and opportunities, as well as external relationships with tertiary or post-secondary institutions - colleges, trade schools, polytechnic/vocational institutions, universities, etc., and workforce-focused NPOs in your region.
• Drive results by tracking project plans, risk and dependencies, key operational metrics, identifying process improvement opportunities, and delivering on strategic initiatives.
