Responsible for Lab operation of plant in co-ordination with desk engineer & SIC during shift operation. Check boiler water chemistry, steam quality, cooling water chemistry, fuel (Oil gas& coal) & Ash quality in specific time. Any parameter going out of operating range than taking corrective action and report to higher-ups for the same. Ensure that all lab analyses equipment are in healthy condition & certification/ calibration is being carried out timely. Ensure safety PPEs compliance, cleanliness of Lab area, dosing chemical skid and chemical storage area.
