Recruiting Company ProfileOrigin Consultants Pvt Ltd has been retained by One Of The Global Engineering Giant to identify Human Resources Leader (Manufacturing Unit) to be based at VadodaraJob DescriptionThe incumbent will Head the Human Resources Function at the Manufacturing Unit at Vadodara and be responsible to:Lead a team and oversee all aspects of Human Resource Operations (Manpower Planning, Recruitment, Talent Management, Retention Management, Negotiations with Trade Unions, Time Office, Salary Administration, Compensation & Benefits, MIS, Statutory Compliances, Grievance Redressal, Performance Appraisal, Training & Development, Policys & Procedures, Recognition & Reward, Employee Relations, General Administration)Design & facilitate various HR / IR processes across the Business Unit & also benchmark with the best practices across the industry for: Manpower Planning & Talent Acquisition Talent Management & Performance Management systems. Learning & Development & Capability building initiatives. Career planning initiatives for various functional verticals. Succession Planning & Niche Talent development. Employee engagementCreate and maintain a strong relationship with plant site leadership team at all levels of organization, act as a business partner.Lead and arrange the recruitment and staffing process to ensure the hiring of highly skilled and talented individuals; support plant operations through planning headcount; support the organization capability assessment process ensuring succession planning in place.Focus on performance management process using the companys annual review tools to improve performanceDefine and develop capabilities, and refine organization structures while ensuring appropriate change integration plans are in placeManage the compensation and benefits process and support Line Managers with compensation reviews to ensure fair and competitive pay practices, ensuring benchmarking within the companys and against the external marketplace.Implement the Strategy, HR processes, policies and standards and comply with the local legislative, compliance and cultural environment. This ranges from rewards and salary administration, benefits, performance management, compliance, recognition, and employee communication programs. Recommend and champion change to policy and procedures where necessary.Ensure the individual and collective relationships between the business and its people are healthy, open and collaborative through appropriate communications and management behavior. Independently investigate employee issues and bring to resolution. Implement and manage the companys labor relations strategy and plans.Direct handling and administration of employee complaint/grievance and arbitration procedures and labor agreement adherenceEnsure proper and effective personnel administration and reporting (headcount, time and attendance, payroll, etc.)Ensure compliance with internal and external labor standards & requirements.Lead and improve training and development related processes, to include identification of training needs, design, delivery and evaluation of development programs.Lead, coach and develop HR team members to achieve business plan objectives in alignment with application of the People Strategy.Desired Candidate ProfileMBA HR / IR / MSW with 15 to 20 years of experience in Human Resource preferable from an MNC Manufacturing backgroundMust have a strategic approach with demonstrated effectiveness at working with the leadership team to design and execute human capital strategies necessary to achieve positive business outcomes.Must possess excellent consulting and facilitation skills in addition to strong analytical skills and strong project management capabilities.Experience in coaching and mentoring leadership to next level, being and effective sounding board for the Operations Leadership will be importantGreat team player and ability to work effectively in a matrix organisation environmentAbility to mentor and develop employeesFamiliarity and ability to apply employment laws on a city, state and country levelExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsABOUT ORIGIN CONSULTANTS PVT LTDOrigin Consultants Private Limited is an Executive Search Company which partners with Professional Organizations in a Human Resource Consulting Process aimed at Talent Acquisition, Recruitment and Selection of Organizational Leaders.Headquartered in Mumbai, India, Origin Consultants Pvt Ltd focuses on Senior and Middle Management positions across Industries Functions and Roles.
