Job Description

    Internal Job Title: Assistant Manager - Supply ChainBusiness: Lucy Electric Manufacturing and Technologies Pvt. Ltd.Location: Halol, Vadodara, IndiaJob Reference No: 3672Job Purpose:Responsible for planning, managing, coordinating all activities related to sourcing and procurement of components to meet customer demand through team management.Key Accountabilities: Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Directs and coordinates supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction and achieve the S&OP. Implementing procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirement and operate with optimum inventory as required by the organization. Preparing reports detailing inventory levels and other supply chain data as needed. Suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company Acts as part of the team coordinating engineering changes, product line extension, or new product launches to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time and best prices to ensure all the criteria are meet according to the organizational requirement and specification Capable of instructing professional or technical staff and reviewing the quality of the work undertaken by these rolesSecondary Activities I Tasks To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required to enhance the efficiency, quality and service provided by the Supply chain department. To undertake business travel as and when required.Functional CompetenciesEssential Knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of ERP systems Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Strong supervisory and leadership skills Strong background in Supply chain parameters such as OTIF calculation, Inventory analysis and maintenance. A good understanding of the wider business environment (sales, marketing, operations, and customer services)Desirable Knowledge of Machining, Fabrication and Surface treatment process.Behavioural Competencies Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
