Job Responsibilities :.
  • Supervise and follow implementation of safety procedures and processes in the fields
  • Ensure risk assessment and tool box talk prior to job execution
  • Supporting the shift crew in ensuring safe & smooth start-up & shut-down
  • Support the maintenance manager in monitoring process parameters, troubleshooting & expediting maintenance
  • Inventory management of chemicals & catalyst
  • Effective use of SAP
  • Provide field supervision for shutdown, start up and preservation
  • Effective use of OMPro tool
  • Mitigate process emergencies and emergency shutdown
  • Support efforts on special samples and improvement trials where relevant
  • Follow up with Field executive and maintenance executive to expedite maintenance activities and safe HOTO of equipment
  • Implement PIOs and support improvement studies in his area
  • Support training of new hires
  • Involve in interactions / discussions with superiors and peers
  • Participate in learning from incidents and RCA discussions
  • Maintain shift logs for respective area / equipment
  • 100 % compliance to work permit system
  • Risk assessments during equipment hand over take over and process jobs
  • Report near miss incidents
  • Identify, suggest and validate opportunities for improvement

Job Description for the position of Day Engineer - Technical Textile - RCSJob Accountabilities:-Responsible for Preventive, Proactive and breakdown maintenance of all technical textiles machine i.e. Knitting, Weaving and Warping as per the schedule.Coordination with all shift engineer for doing above activities to get desire plant output.Ensure all preparatory equipment ready at the time of requirement in machine.Responsible for product change over with well equipped plan with shift engineer and technicians.Plan, ensure and maintain regular and critical spares and consumables at plant level for continuous running of machineries and control the maintenance cost.Interaction with the specified vendors for AMC & service of all above machines, equipment and preparatory.To analyse the machine down time report & to prepare action plan accordingly to control and reduce the time with continual improvement.Determine requirement of AMC s production and maintenance budget with respect to plant production targets and production capacity consideration.Process and Maintenance documentation, schedule, formats, history cards and records update as per QMS system for all above machine and preparatory equipment s.Responsible for new expansion and project preparation and execution.Coordination with central plant maintenance team for Preventive and maintenance of utilities equipment and its AMC with require spares procurement.Interaction with internal department for spares and consumable procurement process, finance department for sanction of budget with justification of required spares or Machine.To provide training of machine to technician team and shift engineer for (i) Housekeeping (ii) Safety (iii) Process Maintenance (iv) Root cause analysis.Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills):
  • Experience for process and maintenance in Technical Textile machinery a specially in Warp Knitting, Weaving and Warping technology with related preparatory equipment.

Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications):B.E/ B.Tech / Diploma in Mech./ Textiles / Elect. with 6-8 years of Textile Machine / relevant experience respectively.Education Requirement :
  • B.E./ B. Tech (Chemical / Textile / Relevant Stream) with good and consistent academic records
Experience Requirement :
  • He/she should have managed a team in his current/prior assignments
  • Relevant Experience - Degree holder2- 3 years, or diploma with 5-6 years experience
