Embedded Systems Engineer Smart TV, App & IoT Integration [Part-time/Full-time]Location: Vadodara, Gujarat (On-Site)Starting Salary: Rs 20,000-35,000Performance-Based Bonuses & Strong Growth TrajectoryThe role can be part-time to begin with.About UsWe are building Deckoviz, a first-in-the-market AI hardware product, designed around a smart TV modality, integrating smart lighting, AI-driven interactions, mobile app integration, and more. We are looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer who understands smart TVs, their chips, and OS, and can help upload and run our applications on the smart TV chipset, connect external smart lights to the TV chipset, and ensure seamless integration with our mobile app.Core ResponsibilitiesSmart TV OS & Chip Integration Upload, run, and optimize our app on smart TV chips & OS.Electronics & IoT Tasks Connect neon lights with the TV chipset and enable app-based control.Mobile & TV App Sync Ensure seamless communication between the smart TV, mobile app, and external hardware.Responsibilities [expanded]Smart TV App Development & Integration: Install and configure our application on smart TV platforms (Android TV, WebOS, Tizen, etc.). Develop or integrate APIs to connect smart TVs with mobile applications, to ensure seamless connection between the TV and the mobile app, and allowing the TV to be controlled by the mobile app. Optimize app performance for seamless user experience. Deploy our application onto 1 existing models (bought off the shelf for the purposes of prototyping) and 2 white label smart TVs (these include deploying Android OS onto their OS/chip).IoT & Smart Device Connectivity: Enable smart TVs to communicate with external smart lighting and other connected devices. Work with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and other communication protocols for seamless integration. Troubleshoot and enhance connectivity performance.Product Development & Testing: Ensure smooth functionality of the app across different smart TV brands and models. Test and debug software/hardware integrations.Sales & Marketing (Post-Development Phase) [optional]: Help position and market the product to relevant audiences. Demonstrate product functionality to potential customers. Assist in building partnerships and distribution strategies.Qualifications & SkillsTechnical Expertise: Experience with smart TV operating systems (Android TV, WebOS, Tizen, etc.). Hands-on experience in installing and deploying applications on smart TVs. Strong understanding of IoT device integration, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and related protocols. Proficiency in C/C, Python, or Java (for smart TV development). [optional] Prior work in embedded systems, smart TV app development, or IoT projects. Familiarity with mobile app and TV app integrations. Understanding of UX/UI for TV-based applications. [optional]Growth Mindset & Business Acumen [optional]: Willingness to transition into sales and marketing once the product is developed. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Compensation will be discussed based on availability and expertise.Full-Time Option (Embedded Engineer Sales & Growth Associate[optional]) If you prefer a full-time role, it can expand to include sales and growth responsibilities for Deckoviz, helping market and sell our product. This expanded role gives you the option to increase your compensation substantially. This role is completely optional - you can continue to focus completely on the hardware part of the business if you so choose.
