Job Description

    Position Location: VADODARA, GUJARAT, INDIA (On-Site)Position Budget: 10,00,000 13,00,000 PA.POSITION SUMMARYFP&A Analyst is responsible for timely and accurate reporting of financial statements. The position plays a key role inproviding detailed analysis of financial results as well as supporting the FP&A team in the annual and/or periodicbudgeting/forecasting exercise.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESConduct financial forecasts both capital and P&L for annual and long-term planning and forecasts.Ensure key performance metrics are in place and are effectively managed through reporting/dashboards,business reviews and analysis.Effectively translate performance metrics into financial targets.In partnership with the leadership teams, assist in the development of the annual and long-range plan andensure accurate and timely forecasting.Ability to source, structure and analyze data for problem solving; utilize databases or other tools as required.Partner with the Accounting team to review monthly financial results, identifying key trends, variances, andareas of improved performance.Develop various scenarios through models and interpret financial impact and make recommendations formanagement decision-making teams.Integrate analysis with balance of Finance team to ensure consistent financial view across the organization.Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCEGraduation (Bachelors) in Business, Accounting or Finance; Masters degree will be an advantage5 years professional hands-on accounting experience in Financial Reporting, AnalysisExperience with Microsoft Office, including excellent Excel skillsExperience with BI (Business Intelligence) tools and/or Management ReporterPresent data in numerical and graphical formats appropriately for different audiencesInsatiably curious, VERY detail-oriented and analytical, with excellent strengths in reporting andcommunicating resultsStrong ability to collaborate with all levels across the organizationWork under stress with interruptions and deadlinesStrong English communication skills, both written and verbal with problem solving abilitySupporting & coordinating with on-shore team based out of US officesBEHAVORIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIESPositive attitude and high on professional moraleAbility to effectively work with cross functional teamsAbility to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environmentMust be multi-task oriented and able to work with frequent interruptionsAbility to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills.Self-motivated and able to work with little supervisionTeam Player with a professional attitudeJob requires working in mid or late-shifts and/or on Indian holidays, if requiredThere may be occasional night shifts for training/reporting purposes,
