Job Description

    • Experience: Minimum 6-8 Years experience in Pipeline Engineering related to hydrocarbon industry. Candidate shall be conversant with pipeline route selection, alignment sheets, crossing drawings, Stress analysis using Caesar II or Autopipe softwares, piping layouts, material specifications & material procurement and posses knowledge of ASME B 31.4/31.8 and B 31.3 and various pipeline related international codes/standards.
    • Duties and Responsibilities: Lead Engineer. Carry out Piping / Pipeline Engineering covering engineering pertaining to Engineering Design Basis, Corrosion coating selection criteria for buried pipeline, Wall thickness calculations and pipeline material selection, Pipeline route selection, route reconnaissance, preparation of route maps/field layouts, alignment sheets, piping general arrangement drawings, selection of materials, preparation of material and construction/installation tender documents for onshore pipelines including technical evaluation of offers; stress analysis of piping & pipeline, review of installation procedures for river crossings etc., design review and approval of engineering done by contractor, review and approval of vendors design, drawings and procedures for piping/pipeline related items; discussion with clients, bidders and contractors.
    • Skills Required: Knowledge of Alignment sheets/crossing drawings/engineering calculations related pipeline such as stress analysis, anti-buoyancy, upheaval buckling, wall thickness calculations, pipeline/piping Materials/ stress design Engineering. Knowledge and experience of pipeline route finalization shall be preferred.
