Job Description

Reporting toHead- Strategic ProcurementWork LocationCorporate Office, VadodaraQualification and ExperienceBE/B.Tech Chemicals/ MBA-Operations & SCM with 7-15 Years of experience.Key Responsibilities(indicative not exhaustive) Design and execute the raw material procurement plan in tandem with business needs, complying to regulatory and operational requirements. The candidate will be responsible for managing and executing the procurement activities for a business unit. Past expertise in import as well as domestic sourcing is essential Ensure quick and structured response to stakeholder needs at the plants. Negotiate and finalize contracts, spot purchases, service orders to secure advantageous terms. Candidate should be able to monitor and control procurement costs, seek cost saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation. Persuade, influence, and explore alternatives to reach outcomes to gain acceptance of concerned stakeholders in the best interest of organization. Analyze data using forecasting tools and methodologies to assess actual performance, quantify risks, develop and manage procurement budgets and review forecasts for accuracy. Prepare price forecasting reports and disseminate them to various stakeholder groups as required. Closely monitor the spend ratio and control overall cost and expenses. Actively identify and pursue areas of margin leakage and procurement optimization by leveraging practices across organization. Lead in implementing solutions and resources to generate cost savings and efficiency improvement.,
