Job Description

    POSITION SUMMARYSenior Manager is responsible for supervising the accounting and banking operations of all Qualified Settlement Funds(QSFs) as well as maintaining proper documentation on policies and procedures relating to QSF accounting. Thisposition will oversee all controls for QSF Accounting processes ensuring the financial systems are robust, compliantand support current activities and future growth. The position plays a key role in providing outstanding client serviceetc.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESMaintains and enforces a documented system of Accounting policies, procedures and internal safeguardsEvaluating accounting and internal control systems within the QSF Accounting groupOversee the operations of QSF Accounting functions, including the design of an organizational structureadequate for achieving the departments goals and objectivesHire, train, develop and lead the Accounting staff with the goal of maximizing the strengths of each team memberto create an efficient, high functioning teamSetting goals & objectives of team members and conducting probation review & performance evaluationDevelop & publish reporting metrics of KPIsPerform additional duties as assigned to support the finance teamUnderstand and adhere to all company policies, including but not limited to security, trade secrets andconfidentiality of all informationPROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCEGraduation (Bachelors) in Business, Accounting or Finance; Masters degree or Professional Accountingqualification will be an advantage.15 years of work experience in leading & managing Accounting/Operations team, which should preferablyinclude 10 years experience at BPO/KPO/ITES industriesHands-on experience with QuickBooks and/or Oracle NetSuite highly preferredComfortable and highly proficient in working with medium to large sets of data in spreadsheets and otherinformation systemsHave Advanced Excel skills: data manipulation, conditional formatting, lookup functions, logical functions.Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal with problem solving abilityArticulate and comfortable working with internal & external clients on real-time via phone as well as via email.BEHAVORIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIESPositive attitude and high on professional moraleAbility to effectively work with cross functional teamsAbility to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environmentMust be multi-task oriented and able to work with frequent interruptionsAbility to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills.Having prior experience of leading large teams and resolving conflicts at work by providing constructivefeedbackSelf-motivated and able to work with little supervisionTeam Player with a professional attitudeJob involves supporting & coordinating with on-shore team based out of US offices and hence requiresflexibility to work in any shift and/or on Indian holidays as well.,
