Job Description
1. Should be strong in NAS (Network Attached Storage) and SAN (Storage Area Network).
2. Can configure and manage Network Cluster and RAID.
3. Knowledge in Linux Monitoring tools like Wireshark and tcpdump and third party tools like PRTG and MRTG.
4. Handling Linux servers like Mail Servers, Apache and Postfix independently.
5. Knowledge in DNS Servers and DHCP Servers and also should good in iptables (Linux Firewall) as well as different UTM Products like Fortigate, Cisco Pix, Juniper, Sonicwall etc.
6. Knowledge in wireless communication (Router and Access points). Establishing Wi-Fi zones, Bridge connectivity etc.
7. Good in different wireless encryption algorithm like WEP, WPA, WPA2, WPA2 Personal, AES etc.
8. Knowledge of Linux and Windows including installation and trouble shooting.
9. Knowledge of primary network management including Lan Management.
10. Preferable knowledge of installing and managing any virtualization software preferably xen server and hyperv.
11. Knowledge installing various software like SQL Server, Oracle, Adobe Design Suit, Coral Draw, Autodesk products and different Microsoft products like Visio, Project, Office etc.
12. Knowledge in Symantec Backup, all types of Windows and Linux Backup (Differential, Incremental, Full etc).
13. Should have skill in MySQL, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL, Python, Code shifting in SVN
